Anxiety Check
GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7)
About this check
The GAD-7 is a brief 7-question screener for generalized anxiety. It asks how often worry, restlessness, or being on edge have bothered you in the last 2 weeks, and gives a rough severity rating.
Important: This is a screener, not a diagnosis. It is designed for generalized anxiety specifically — if your worry is mostly about one area (e.g., social situations, health, panic attacks), more focused tests exist.
What your score means
Minimal · score 0–4
Your answers suggest minimal or no anxiety symptoms over the last two weeks.
Mild · score 5–9
Your answers suggest mild anxiety — worry is showing up but may still be manageable.
Moderate · score 10–14
Your answers suggest moderate anxiety. At this level, worry often starts interfering with sleep, focus, or how you show up in relationships.
Severe · score 15–21
Your answers suggest severe anxiety. This level is often distressing and can be exhausting.
