Adult ADHD Check

ASRS v1.1 Part A (Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale)
⏱ 2–3 min 6 questions Free · Private

About this check

The ASRS was developed with the World Health Organization. Part A contains the 6 questions that best separate adults with ADHD from those without. It is a screener — a positive result suggests it is worth a fuller assessment.

Important: This checks for adult ADHD only. A formal ADHD diagnosis looks at your childhood too, rules out other explanations (sleep, thyroid, depression, trauma), and usually involves a specialist.

What your score means

Below threshold · score 0–3

Fewer than 4 items fell in the concerning range. This makes it less likely your difficulties are explained by adult ADHD — though it does not rule it out, and it does not rule out other conditions that affect attention (sleep problems, anxiety, depression).

Positive screen · score 4–6

Four or more items fell in the concerning range. This suggests your symptoms are consistent with adult ADHD and a fuller evaluation may be worthwhile.

How it works

Please answer each question based on how you have felt and conducted yourself over the last 6 months.

If you are in crisis: Please call Tele-MANAS 14416 (free, 24/7, many Indian languages) or 112 for emergencies. You can also reach iCall, Vandrevala Foundation, or AASRA.
